I learned without
anyone teaching
or directing me. I just kept at it until I found out how to do a proper
job by reading, researching, asking questions at
every
opportunity, and watching haircutting videos/DVDs. I know that it is
intimidating if you've never tried it before, but just start slow. My
books have very clear, cut by cut directions with pictures for each
step, tailored for the beginner. I suggest you start very basic, like
trimming bangs, and then move on to the blunt cut, taking it one step
at a time.
